Interior/Exterior Mini Magnetic Protectors
Mini Magnetic Protectors
Interested if anyone has used these or is road damage to the fenders not a real problem. I plan to be on the road quite abit once my car arrives anb I don't want a bunch of rock chips. I am speaking about the factory ones, also I believe OutMotoring sells them also. Thanks
In 54000 miles of motoring, I haven't gotten any rock chips on the area that these things protect.
Get them if you think they look neat, but I'd find something better to do with my $35
You'd be a LOT better off buying the protective headlamp covers because they DO protect some expensive parts.

Aaron at Outmotoring told me that he's seen some cars that have a TON of chips there and others without a single one- I think it depends on where you drive and live. I just got my car like 2 weeks ago and I almost got these as well, both because I like the way they look and because I want to protect the car, but they're pricey. I plan to drive for 2k-3k miles, see if I have any chips and then get them if I have any. I hear that the front "mud flaps" (Mini part) help with this a great deal as well, and it looks like they're a snap to istall... not sure what they look like on an actual car, though.
