Hand brake console removal

[SIZE=2]Would anyone happen to know how to remove the small plastic console in the MINI that the Hand Brake goes through ? I have it loose but I can't find the fasteners to set it free

Also does anyone know it there is a 12v constant hot anywhere near the handbrake console ?
