any instructions or tips to remove the protective plastic that has been on my headlight? it's been badly scratch, and i would like to remove it for now. but i'm not sure if i should just peal it off, or is there extra steps i should do before proceeding to the pealing? maybe heating it up? but afraid i will melt the clear plastic on my headlights.

I'd use a hair dryer & carefully peal them off. You won't melt your lenses with a hairdryer.
