Just for anyone that's comtemplated changing out that bright red "S" on the MCS side marker. I got these from Albert (that's his username) here on MCO. Drop him a PM if you like. I paid under $5 for a set of 3. But one thing I didn't realize is that the "S" on the back of the car is smaller than the "S" on the side marker. So I have one left over for my files.

Personally, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the look on my DS/B MCS. I've got the rear badging shaved, so the only badeges now are the black "MINI" and carbon fiber "S" on the side markers. Schweeeeeeeeeet!!

COOL! the carbon-fiber logo is very descreet and sporty. Good stuff Ryan; this gives me all sorts of ideas:

- Color matched "S" logos to your body color, with chrome edging
- all chrome "S" logos, to match the "Cooper" logo

Cheers,
Ryan

I PM'ed Albert a few days ago and haven't heard anything back, what's the deal?

Ryan, do you have his e-mail?

These Logos are too cool to let slip by!

Cheers

Sorry for the non-response. I haven't been on MCO since last week. Anyway, for those that are interested, contact Ricky Figueiredo at AirMakak@aol.com

He's the guy that makes the decals. For additional reference, check out: Decals!

Just an FYI, I don't sell these decals myself. The ones I sold Ryan were just some extra samples that I had promised him a long time ago.

Thanks,

Albert

So these are stickers? They don't fit the S on the back? Help Davbret! I would love to get some for my MCS!

It's just vinyl that's cut to fit the side marker "S". They do not fit the rear badged "S". It's not real carbon fiber, just a vinyl sticker that looks like it. I've got one left over that I can have a local shop reproduce if efforts to contact the vendor are unsuccessful.

I just like not having that glaring red "S" jumping out from the side of my stealthy DS/B MCS.

What is the chrome part of the marker made of?

Since I am looking to make my future CR/B Mini have only red and black colors, except for the chrome gas cap, I would like to paint the chrome part of the marker black and leave the red S.

Removed the "Cooper S" badging from the rear. Very simple. Just heat it up, say with a hairdryer, the "saw" it off with a piece of dental floss. Wipe off any extra glue with WD-40 or similar.

I'll take a shot tonight and post it.
