JFC can we get off the PC thing! I cannot believe that soemone would have issues with the "RICE" term. GET OVER IT that is so rice!

Really the MC is marketed to the "hot hatch" market, atleast here in the states. So we bought into a market dominated by Honda and VW. Well EVERYONE knows what the "RICE" look is and what are we supposed to call it? "FLASHY-CHEAP-YELLOW-FAKE-CARBON" look!?!

I want to look down my nose at civics with friggin 3 foot wings and no stick!

So again GET OVER IT! Find a better single word than RICE and give it to me, I will use it!

to use an Atlanta term, "***** pleaz!" If I said I was a black man would it make it all right?

Diamond Racing has it, but no price. New Mini Sport is selling it too, I believe I saw it for around 120 pounds.

Found it! Finally.

This is the direct URL to the page. Carbon Fibre Scoop

It's listed at 152.96 pounds. Anybody got a conversion to US$$ for that?

that's a lot of scratch
i might have to go with the DaveInDenver method
"purchase a second scoop ($48) and paint it black."

it's plastic right, can you send plastic out to be chromed?
do you think it would look good on the yellow?
do you have the chrome side mirrors?

yes, it's plastic. You can Chrome plastic with a special silver conductive prime coat.
I have the chrome mirror caps, that's why I'm considering chroming the scoop. It'll definetly look original.

Kind of off topic, but the local MINI dealership (Crevier MINI) has the carbon fiber boot spoiler installed on an electric blue MINI and I like it a lot. I think it would look even better on the DS/B or something like that. I'll see if I can get a picture up here for you guys.
