DIY clear bra?

As seen here, NAM sponsor Auto Paint Guard offers a discount of 30%. I've heard that installing a clear bra is tricky and can take a professional all day. Auto Paint Guard says differently:

Is installation difficult? Can I do it myself?
The installation process is very simple. Anyone can apply these kits provided the written instructions that come with each X-Pel kit are followed closely.

Has anyone tried one of their kits?

Thanks,

Paul

I did follow the instruciton (Video) from Auto Paint Guard, and it is straight foward. Not much telent is required, but patience is important.
Here the logic that I choose for DIY:
I don't know how much does it cost for professionally installed these days. But at the time when I go for DIY, it cost more than $200. At that time I just tell myself, if I screw my 1st kit, and required to purchase a 2nd kit, it still cheaper than doing it by professional. (Given my labor/time are free).
Hope this help.

If it's your fist time, there is a good chance you may mess up a bit here and there. The hardest part is for me is to stretch the film evenly over the concave area between the grills and headlights, consider getting a partner so you can get both sides done in parallel. Mine did trap some air bubbles, having done once on my another car without any problem, I'm not too happy with the result on my Mini, probably need to redo it.

The package includes a video disc showing a guy demostrating installtion on a mini and a bmw, he makes it look really easy. Watch carefully on every detail.

I have one question though, should I put clear bra underneath the bonnet strips? Right now it sits on top of strip, the gap between the edge of stip and
clear bar forms some annoying air pocket, I spent a lot of time trying to squeeze the air out of it without much success. Next time guess I need to peel part of the strips first.

as above posts, i also recommend patience over talent on these pre-cut
vinyls.
