What splitter is this?

Hey guys, saw this on another thread and decided since Maxi-Tuner/Bond-MINI seems to be difficult to find, maybe this one would work! lol.

I'm assuming this is the Um-Nitza, but not 100% sure. I know the Um-Nitza's website has it in Carbon Fiber, not sure if you can get it in other colors (or painted). So that's why I'm not 100% sure about it. Could also be the Hamann splitter for the Cooper S, but in a regular Cooper (not sure about fit, but...)

Anybody has any other info. on it??
Thanks,
Leo.

Its not the umnitza (which is just a hamann copy) because the front contour is much different.

I'm 98% sure its made by NKB power in japan....which makes sense since that car is in japan.

Just wanted to say that I think your website is extremely confusing and very difficult to navigate. I've been there before and usually just give up and move on.
Not a 'cut' on you or your product, but just noting...

Why don't you recommend painting CF?

Frankly, i can't stand the look of CF... When i get a CF hood im painting it. If the CF has a proper gelcoat, i don't see why it would be any harder to paint than a piece of fiberglass or plastic...

Now if you want a color, ask for a special color weave

Bicycle manufacturers and after-marketers have been painting CF for years, and it's de-rigeur this year (It goes on phases.) Painting CF is no more difficult than painting any fiberglass or epoxy material. These days CF is so expensive due to increased demand by Boeing (apparently) that it seems such a shame to cover it over, but it weighs about the same, painted or not. I am a member of weightweenies, a group of amazingly focussed bicyclists who worry about the weight of decals, so painted CF is not a big thing amongst us, but there's no physical or chemical reason to not paint CF.
PS my bicycle weighs 12.5lbs, so there's one whole bunch of CF on it--more as a percentage of total weight than in an Enzo Ferrari.

I agree, I paint CF all the time and it comes out great. The thought of buying CF just for the look is not an idea that agrees with me.

you guys need to slow down

You can paint c/f with no problems, but on the other side Umni... has a point: adding a carbonfiber hood or a wing is not going to make your car lightweight, you will save couple here and couple there, but the outcome is very little, almost pointless. Enzo Ferrari has a C/F body, and it is painted, of course, douhhh, would you buy a C/F looking Ferrari? It has to be red. I had a Ducati 996SPS with both upper lower side fairings, front cowl, rear seat panel, lower fairing in C/F with the famous Ducati red paint on it. My point is if you are buying a c/f hood and painting the whole thing to body color, you are wasting money. On our cars, c/f is more for the looks than the functionality. Before you guys start flaming people think twice.
