Bonnet Stripes-to paint or decal

Hello! Well my 2006 PW/B MC is waiting for shipment. I am now trying to decide if I should have a local custom guy paint my bonnet stripes on or if I should do the vinyl ones. Anyone with any pros and cons to each is greatly appreciated!

Paint or Vinyl

If your sure you will never want to change them, go with paint. But if you think that a new look every year or so wouldn't be bad, then go with vinyl. Vinyl will require a little more TLC as it is vinyl and can deteriorate over time if not cleaned and cared for during your routine car care. We recommend Aerospace 303 products for all the vinyl, rubber, and plastics on your Mini. It helps keep things conditioned and looking new.

I didn't get stripes because I don't like vinyl. Others' opinions will vary. I'm just old school.

The vinyl can look great, especially if you get a good installer who uses quality stuff and know's what he/she is doing.

I'd go for vinyl...more flexibility to change them in the future, without a costly respray.
