Interior/Exterior A word from MINIUSA: Headlight painting!?!
I might be interested in that, it all depends on what the pricing ends up. I think black would be awesome with my DS/B MCS.
I was concerned about what it would be involved in sanding that chrome plate enough to get paint to stick to it and trying to do so without scratching or otherwise damaging the lenses.
As to Rocketboy's comments, "Of course painting the front surfaces won't do a darn thing.. And i'm assuming that's what we are talking about here.. If you start painting down into the 'tubes', one would think that you will lose some light.. of course, that doesn't stop people from puting tint over their headlights either... "
The front surfaces are a major part of this, also, the tubes are at right or obtuse angles to the light direction so they shouldn't have a significant impact on light traveling forward of the vehicle.
The comments about people not using their brains come in regards to those that think that painting those portions will create so much danger that it will threaten the collapse of modern western civilization. I don't have a problem with those that say that they are uncomfortable with doing this modification themselves but there are plenty that seem to believe that if MINIUSA doesn't recommend it, no one should ever consider such a thing or think for themselves.

With my product, pending, there will only need to be replacement. you will remove your existing chrome housing and replace it with what I'm making. Any color, even carbon fiber or gold plated if that's what you seek.
If you are interested , please PM me anytime... Thanks

I'm not sure if that was for or against what i said... humm...
but also, I'm sure you've already figured out, but for the ones who haven't, the 3rd (empty) tube is actually ported to capture more light from the highbeams..
