I don't much so pardon if this is a dumb question, but can cruise control be added? Will it work as well as the factory installed option?

Here are the official retrofitting instruction given to dealers. I know noone that has done this though: http://www.bridger.us/mini/howto/MFSW.PDF

You can find other How-Tos on my site: bridger.us/mini

Do you have any idea of the cost? I asked a local dealer a few weeks ago and they said it was not possible. Does it make a difference if it is a Cooper or Cooper S?
