Adding Chrome bits

I want to add some Interior Chrome bits. Would it be proper to add each one at a time or wait untill I have collected the whole collection and add them all at once?

Forget "proper". Get what you can now, get what you can later!

I've been doing the chrome exterior bits. . . got a used chrome Cooper grille a few months ago, just got the mirror caps a couple weeks ago.

I agree with Yucca.
I added black bits and yellow bits to my exterior as I got them. Make sure you take pictures of the car at each stage, so you can see the progression from what you bought to what you wanted.
