Custom Seat Delete

I’ve had this for a couple of years but never took good pictures. There are a few more in the gallery with some photos of the sound deadening base application. As a Chef, I often have to haul a lot of groceries so this really helps.

Nice! I like to look better than the "Rear Seat Delete" kit sold here on NAM.

tell us more that does look good, interesed how you did it and what the cost is. I have been considering the other rear seat delete but I am not 100% sold on removing the back seat yet.

The carpet padding is from Home Depot; the insulating material and auto carpet is from an upholstery supplier. Cost is, well, who knows because I tried a few different materials before I found something that wouldn’t smell like aviation fuel during summer temps. I made some templates/patterns and put the scissors to some carpet. A look at the gallery will reveal it’s a composite consisting of different layers. Some of it for sound deadening and absorption, another for a thermal barrier, and the cover carpet to match the stock interior.

Yah and floormats. But like you said your just at it for the additional cargo space not weight savings
