Has anyone removed the rear wiper assembly?

If so….what’s the secret? After taking the nut off which is located on the wiper blade shaft under the black plastic cap, shouldn’t the wiper just pull straight back and off?

Any help would be appreciated ….thanks.

 

yea i havent seen much on this subject. i think it looks allot cleaner without it. im also interested if anyone else has done this before.
