Possible Factory Option?

Whats up all- Question for anyone or everyone out there that likes(or could hate) shaved emblems for a "sleeper" look- does anyone know if it could be a possibility to order my MINI without the emblems AND the guide holes for the two MINI emblems on the Bonnet and the rear Hatch??
I would have no problem shaving them myself, however, it could save me some time?? Any ideas or do I have no chance of getting that?? Any input would be greatly helpful!! Thanks!!

Really doubt it. They wouldn't even leave that beast of a cupholder off at the factory when I asked.

I thought it was the dealer that put the cupholder in. I guess I better call my MA and apologize about threatening him if he approaches my next MINI with that thing.

Most of us were considering ourselves lucky if we got them to leave the dealer badges off our MINIs! Personally, I love the sleeper look...but I would've even loved to have seen the MCS w/o a bonnet scoop. It's very obvious. I'd much rather have had only the badging and the twin tail pipes tell the story on the MCS....no scoop and no chrome gas cap.

Maybe '07s will bring fewer obvious cues for defining a MINI's prowess. I still want to see that magic "S" subtly displayed though.

Don't know about the boot emblem, but the holes for the bonnet emblem are non-negotiable... That's where the transponder that's affixed to the car as it goes through manufacturing. It's how they track the car through production. When the transponder is removed, the wings are attached.

As for the remaining emblems, hair dryer, dental floss and WD 40 will take them right off. Use the hair dryer to heat the adhesive behind the badge, the dental floss to gently remove them from the car without damaging the paint, and the WD40 to remove the remaining adhesive.
