aero black grill

Can you mount the black aero grill with the stock bumper? I guess the top and middle sections fit, but what about the bottom... or do you just leave that part stock?

Yes, you can install the aero grill to a regular MCS/MC bumper. Look at my gallery for reference.

well, we had this thread too many times before, but that's fine, the top part is pretty easy, the bottom portion is kind of hard, here is the link that I read before doing it:

http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=75109

and this is useful too:

Let me know if you need more assistance

Hey Vince, to clarify, the top and middle sections will fit (but the middle section requires some reshaping as detailed in the links above), the bottom section is generally left stock as the aero bumper has a different shape on the bottom intake.

Thanks for the links with the excellent directions. We did two MCS today (mine and my friend's car - he was the one that talk me into the MCS) and they came out great. The only thing we did different was on the middle grill was to drill through a few of the tabs (once the tabs were thru the bumper cover) and slide zip ties thru to work as a locking mechanism and hold the grill tight.

Definately changes the car from cute to aggressive - especially on my car, as I had the chrome package on PW/B.
