I've been looking at various driving light packages and am confused about the contents of the different products. All seem to include wiring harness, lights, switch etc. the discrepency mostly seems to be the brackets and the quality of the installation instructions.

What exactly is the difference between, say, a MINI Madness-type light kit for $350+ and other sites selling a PIAA 520 series 55w kits which I have seen for around $200?

I am in no way bashing MM's prices. Having the proper fittings and instructions can't be under-estimated. I just don't want to buy something cheaper that won't work at all.

Any feedback from the more electronically inclined?
