Interior/Exterior L.E.D Side marker lights?
Good source for L.E.D. bulbs
I have gotten several LED bulbs from http://autolumination.com/.
I have replaced the red and amber corner markers with clear ones. When I did this I had to replace the clear bulbs with red and amber bulbs.
For this I used LED bulbs instead of regular colored bulbs. They do look really cool.
The bulbs for the corner markers are the 194 bulbs. I also replaced the front side marker bulbs with super white LED bulbs, also the 194 LED bulbs. Further more I have replaced the interior bulbs with the Xenon Super White Festoon Dome Light Bulbs # 212.

I ordered 4 194 Oval Wide Angle Lenses Signal/Marker Bulbs (2 amber and 2 red) along with 2 194 Clear Focused Lenses Signal/Marker Bulbs (Super White). Installation was a breeze but I notice the following:
When the car is turned off the 194 Oval Wide Angle Lenses Signal/Marker Bulbs (both the amber and red color) periodically faintly glow, not like they are fully lit up but I can see that they are glowing. They do not all come on at the same time and some stay on longer then others. Eventually they turn off but will come back on again and then go off. The 194 Clear Focused Lenses Signal/Marker Super White Bulbs do not do this.
When I asked the seller about this he said:
The leds require almost no power to light. You can actually ligh them thru your fingers if you touch one end of a battery.
The light is from a small trickle voltage that is in that circuit for some reason. There is a place somewhere in the circuit where a small amount is voltage is jumping the switch. It is not enough to light the filament bulb, but it lights the led. It will not hurt anything.
Actually it’s kinda cool to see them on at night. They look like faintly glowing computer L.E.D.’s marking the corners of the car.
Sorry don’t have pictures yet. This is something I really need to do soon.

I've been waiting for some of our vendors to bring over some of the goodies from Japan. One of them is a whole replacement for the side marker lens that contains several LED's and looks pretty sweet but no such luck yet.
VENDORS ARE YOU LISTENING!?!!?!??

Received my bulbs today, To be honest I am a little dissapointed with the packing. All of my 9 bulbs were thrown into one bag. No labels....
Packing was good and shipping was fast. I am a little suprised however that I did not get any business cards or at least an invoice???

So, you just changed the regular filament bulbs to LED's? I didn't think that could be done??? Are they 'real' LED's or are they 'look alike' LEDs? Do they have the instant on/off response of the LEDS? I thought that since LED's require so few amps, that tehy will get burned out in the stock locations? At least with teh G35, when someone tried to make the front blinkers LED, tehy needed a bunch of resistors up there. Any help would be greatly appreciated since I love the look of LED's but thought they were too difficult to do!!
Looking at the website, they look like real LED's. Plus, depending on how you wire them (series, parallel) and the type of resistor you use), it should be possible to package them this small. I also think you would only need one or two resistors - just need to buy the right resistor. He could even have a voltage regulator in there, or something to that effect. Analog-Digital makes em.
The quality of the bulbs is good. The colors are very vibrant! I cant find my manual. Does anyone know how to remove the red and amber side markers?
FYI - L.E.D 's will pretty much run forever. the flash the same as regular bulbs but they are much brighter.

the rear is a REAL PAIN
front...
open the bonnet and look at the bumper...you will see a bolt stick up near the side marker...it's an 8 mm you can access it but turning your wheel...use an extention...then near the RAD you will see a torx bit bolt...take that off as well...do one side at a time for ease...after yo utake those off you should be able to pull the bumper away on the side where the bulb is...twist and pull out the fixture from the marker..tada!
the side blinkers...
you have to get you hand/fingers in between the fender and the strut tower...feel for the grill and just PUSH...I almost always hit my finger on the part that sticks out...it hurts a little buuut oh well
the rear...
I found it easiest to jack up the rear a little...take out the two pop screws...which are a pain...then you have to find a way to hold the wheel well out of the way while you try to change the bulb...
DO ONE AT A TIME! make sure each one works everytime...
that's all for now!!

sorry...LOL...
