'05 Headlight Retrofit onto an '02?

Can you retrofit the '05 headlights (with projectors) onto an '02 with the HIDs?

In theory ... expensive! And you need to replace other electronics in the car too.

Worse still if you want to put Xenons into a non-Xenon car ...

According to 4GAZM it can be done. He has retrofitted them in to his 02 MCS with Xenons. I will be picking my car up from the body shop in a day or two and I will be able to report back on my retrofit.

It Works

I went to the shop today to see my car. They had the headlights in so I got to try them out. SUCCESS. WE ARE GO FOR XENON!!!. I can now confirm along with 4GAZM that the 05 XENONS are Plug-n-Play retrofitable for older MINI's with Xenons.
