Anyone know of any aftermarket companies selling neoprene seatcovers for the MINI? (MCS sport seats in particular) I've seen these on a couple of cars, they look very cool, seem pretty durable and are custom fit to the particular vehicle.

 

Diamond Racing has them for both front and back seats.

 

While at the Los Angeles auto show I met the manufacture of the neoprene seat covers, Wet Okole, 1727 Superior Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA 92627-3614.
949/548-1543. They make the seatcovers in a multitude of colors and patterns. The cost is about $225.00 a pair for custom bucket seat covers. They have
a toll free number also: 888/24-OKOLE. By the way, Wet Okole is Hawiiaan for wet bottom.

 

neoprene sounds like an interesting material. from my wetsuit experience, I can't recall it breathing much, but dissapates water (sweat) quite well, and is neutral in temperature. Who's got 'em? Do tell, I'm tweakin over here

 

Having spent some time in Hawaii , I've been to the Wet Okole store and seen their product. They use the 'right kind of neoprene ' and have been doing this for a long time. They also have a great service policy. I'm not sure if they have a pattern for the MINI yet but it's worth an email.

The display vehicle for Wet Okole was a MINI at the LA auto show. So, I guess that they have a pattern for it.
