Maybe you ladies should take your tea party somewhere else...

It's not bad, and IMO, looks better under the side grills.

I'm willing to look at, and not completely make fun of, anything anyone has done to their MINI.

RESPECT THE NAM. Word up.

Hey kaelaria,I see you have no comment for any of the other statements.Learn how to spell. Are you sure your GTP is 12 seconds and not 21?You shouldn't be allowed to own a MINI.

My GTP is a 1998 - and I've been involved in the W-body community for years, hense the easy recognition of a Pontaic symbol. Yep, I'm sure it's a 12. Go ahead and put other brand stickers on your ride - I don't care - I'll laugh at how it looks just like all the others that do it! LOL

Oh and my GTP's didn't roll out of Detroit...try Fairfax, KC

I don't know what the heck you are looking at,but I don't see a Pontiac crest anywhere on the back of my car.I will guarantee that not another MINI in this country had the same emblem before I started this thread.

jeez...someone is a little sensitive about this. don't ask what a whole forum full of people think about something personal to you if you can't take critcism, constructive or otherwise. and you making fun of cholera's (sp?) spelling is ironic as you don't use spaces after commas and periods. but this ain't english class.

and my opinion about your addition? don't like it. i won't go into why since apparently you don't want to know. but to each his or her own. if you like it, more power to you. no disrespect intended for you...

and kaelaria, none for you either for calling you cholera a few sentences back...

i'm not about taking sides, but c'mon, he made a comment that reads like it's his true opinion. i can't comment on his other posts as i haven't read all of them.

the subject of this thread was 'what do you think of this...?' he answered. brutal honesty--nothing wrong with that.

Well, I don't know if it is the same emblem, but Ian Cull's GB MINI#2 had a "SUPERCHARGED" badge on it as far back as January 2004:

http://www.gbmini.net/images/albums/...e/DSCF0074.jpg

For the record, it's not something I would do, but I also don't see anything wrong with it either. It's all about personalizing your car to what you like.

IRE is right man, what's his name makes everything a personal attack.I know that some of you won't like it and that's fine. That's why I asked the question to begin with,to hear what people think, kaelaria has to get under the skin like a parasite.Mudflap read his other posts.I can puntuate correctly, but to me correct spelling shows a certain level of education/intelligence.I can take the criticism good or bad.The only reason this crap is going on with kaelaria is because he has a history of being like this.Makes me embarrassed to say I drive the same kind of car as he does.Ian's emblem is different

Being rude is easy when you can hide behind the modem while doing it, huh, kaelaria? Must be lots of fun, since you do it constantly here. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.

Just be nice! Try it sometime, it might make you a happier person

maybe it's just me, but i think when you ask a large group of people what they think about something that is yours, you probably will get some negative responses, sometimes harsh. i'd rather hear what people really think--even if their comment steams me some...

Mudflap read his other posts
you got me, i said i read some of them, which i stated in my response to IRE..certainly did not read all of them, and the ones i read were not attacks whatsoever...again, i have not read all of them, so i won't lump them all into one category.

I can puntuate correctly, but to me correct spelling shows a certain level of education/intelligence
i'm sure you can...i was just making a point that not everyone corrects their spelling and grammer on the internet, especially in forums...by the way, you spelled 'punctuate' incorrectly.

The only reason this crap is going on with kaelaria is because he has a history of being like this
again, i haven't read all of his posts, and even though i signed on in 2004, i didn't start using this forum until a week or two ago. if that's the case, then ignore the comments from him.

Makes me embarrassed to say I drive the same kind of car as he does
does it burn that deep? look, i'm not trying to be an a$$ or anything, but that's a bit over the top, is it not? i'm sure there are plenty of Mini owners that would get my goat, and i'm sure there are some who would not have me over for dinner either. doesn't make me feel embarrased for driving the same car as them.

It wouldn't be that bad if he didn't have to chime in with an attitude ALL the time.I spelled it incorrectly to show the point.

I'm not taking sides either...but come on dude...chill out. This is an open forum. The person asked for opinions. Yah, maybe kaelaria doesn't like many of the mods here, but you constantly harassing him back isnt any better. In life you will have sour apples. It's your choice to bite into them and listen to everything they say...OR you could just skip over his comments and read the next ones.

Everyone can just calm down and share their opinions on the badge

this was all nice and pleasant some liked it, and others did not, he then shows up and just cant say no I dont like it or yes I do, has to insult people with childish remarks, and this is not the first time he has done this its everytime, all I am saying is there is no need to be rude or hurtfull a simple yes or no and leave it at that,

I like the idea but not the font. Maybe something closer to the Cooper emblem for me.

On a different thought - Cooper S Ire, how are you doin on the shift light mod? Still making those or have you stopped?

What are the dimensions of that emblem? I used the '04/'05 GTP one because it's small, and you have to really look to see what it says.It looks better in person.

Hey JR,my quote that you used is referring to the badge in the initial post.It is from a '04/'05 GTP the new ugly body style.
