Has anyone replaced the standard (boring) black carpets with authentically retro "coco mats". These were very popular, especially for sports cars. I am thinking of getting a set (black w blue dots) for my HyperBlue.

 

I like them, but I like sisal mats even better (finer weave). Both are here:

I have a set of blue/black like you are describing in the rear of my car (I got given a set for free from someone who didn't want them). They really do look great with the Hyper Blue. I haven't gotten the fronts yet, still have the rubber S mats that the dealer gave me.

 

I have a complete set of the Black w/ blue spots in my Cool Blue MCSC. I absolutely love them. They are a great addition to the MINI.

MrV has my original rear set (Cocomats didn't realize that the rear mats are smaller for the convertible, so they sent me a free replacemnt set that was the right size. )
