Interior/Exterior Nice dent - less than five months
Nice dent - less than five months
Well,
Had my new EB/B MCS let than five months before someone backed into and didn't have the decency to leave a note.
They hit her in on the passenger side towards the back, near the tail light. It's pretty high up so it must have been an SUV.
Considering what my options are. If I get it repaired and painted will she ever look like she did before? Is the clear coat replaced as well when it's repainted? Is this a good excuse to just bite it and get the Works body kit while I'm at it?
Any thought/opinions would be appreciated.

Yup, the clear coat should be resprayed over the panel that was damaged. Post some pics.
Sorry that happened!
Bummer...
I know how you feel. My Cabrio was keyed all the way down the left side - we had it only over a month - ouch!!! The good news is - it looks as good as new - the body shop did an EXCELLENT job. So do yourself a favor - as your dealership and friends who they recommend..

If the dent doesn't have a crease and/or break the paint, you might be able to use paintless dent repair and save some $ (and keep the exact same color all the way around).
There should be an additional driving test for people in SUVs... maybe require them to have a bus license if there is a 3rd row of seats...
