head light bulbs replacement

girlfriend just got an 04 mini with no xenons. looking for replacement bulbs, ive heard hella H-7 +50% or sylvania silverstars. any recomendations if i do not want to add an hid kit. which is brighter or close to an hid look? thanks bg

silverstar is the closest to HID look you can get for the money. 36 dollars for a pair is a good deal. plus, it greatly increaces your vision at night, i dont know what id do without them.

I would highly recommend Philips Vision Plus or Osram Silverstar. I tried both and prefer the Vision Plus because you can see road signs better at night. However, Silverstar performs better at 50 meters. You can get them at Powerbulbs which come other free bulbs or

if you want to buy philips or osram, don't care for the free bulbs, and quicker shipping.
