Cooper to Cooper S side skirt conversion writeup.

For those that want to see how to convert your Cooper to Cooper S side skirts, I threw this little writeup together:

http://homepage.mac.com/rv6a/minisideskirts.html

The new contour is much better

Excellent writeup! Btw, at some point in the future, NAM will have a way of displaying all the How-To articles in a single place, and you're one of the writers that I believe needs to be in this archive. Just giving you a heads up on a project way down the line and to please keep up the good work!!

Well Done

Thanks for the writeup.

Just a note for any autocrossers- please check the rules for adding side skirts for SCCA solo II. Stock classes require side skirts that are stock and cannot be changed without sending you to another more competitive class.

Even for a JCW kit MCS in ASP class you cannot change side skirts from stock and remain in ASP.

And NO, MCS side skirts are not functionally better than MC side skirts.

ah man, you have no idea how hard it was to tell this guy while we were on a run in Napa Valley. Another buddie and I held a conference over it for a couple minutes while the victim filled up.

Did you start it of something like this: "I see you got the best of both worlds..."

What's really funny is that Classic Mini didn't send me enough clips so there I was, halfway through the right side install and realized I didn't have enough. The right side skirt was already off so I was committed. Doh!! I ran for 2 weeks with one MC and one MCS side skirt.

Looks great! Do you know if the MCS skirts are wider than the MC's? (thus making the car with MSC skirts lower?)

Hi, does any one know whether I can follow this writeup to replace my MCS side skirts with the aero side skirts? The aero side skirts are coming tomorrow, so I am looking around now for any writeup or instruction.

Thanks.
