can i replace my rear view mirror with an auto dimming rear view mirror?

Also, can the new armrest be retrofitted

 

I've been trying for months to order an auto dimming mirror, but apparently MINI doesn't stock this as an item that can be ordered. I've been talking to Classic MINI about it. It appears that it wouldn't be hard to swap this out, but just getting a hold of one seems to be the problem. I believe you won't have any problems with the armrest though--once it becomes available.

As I recall it only came with the package with the Autosensing wipers as well, which was the reason I didn't get it. Glad I didn't considering how much more expensive it is to replace those windshields.

I wasn't able to get either a price or availability. I will follow up and see what's up with it.
