yes they offered to replace it but ive been waiting for weeks for them to get the part in. they are replacing it with the mini armrest. i dont know what it looks like. it was mini of manhattan. they were pretty nice about it but its taking them too long to get the part in. i have to take the car to get its first service done so i hope they will have it in. and ill have them put it in then.

 

If the arm rest coming with the 2005 mini is not coming, why is it still shown on the miniusa website as something you can order? ski

 

I also have the Elbow Landing Device from TVA (formerly gotmini) and it's great. Very simple, looks like OEM, sturdy, (I'm 6-1 and 210) does what it's supposed to do and does it very well. Had it for almost a year now and couldn't be happier. As I remember it cost around 50 bucks. Compared to the 3 figures most of the other ones cost, it's the best bang for buck out there

 

i paid like 48 for mine plus shipping but it was on ebay so.

 

I had an arm rest, till it got in the way when I got the short shift kit. Then I ripped it out.
