I've seen a few complaints on NAM and MINI2 about the mounting brackets for the driving / rally lights beginning to rust. I'm thinking of installing some lamps this Spring (considering Wipacs, after reading a few posts by Joe Dentist. They look great, and the price is right). Anyone have any suggestions on which brand brackets to use? Any particularly good or bad experiences?

Funny you should mention this. I was (finally) washing my MC the other day to get some of the road salt off and noticed that my bumper underneath the rally lights had rust stains on them. They came off with a little soap and rubbing but sure enough my brackets are rusting a little.

I would avoid using OEM mounts unless you coat them in metal paint prior to installation. That's my $0.02. Enjoy!
