Joey Mod (finally)

After like 15 years I finally pulled the trigger and did the Joey mod (threw in an LED drl). Overall not too horrible, but not completely sole on my choice of colors for the projector cone (matched the wheel anthracite).. Thinking of red, but not sold on that either. Thoughts?

Would love to see other examples of BRG'S with this mod for ideas!

Cool.
Did you use a heat gun or oven "bake" the headlights to separate the lens from the housing?
Choosing the right complimentary color has never been my strong point either...(even as an artist).

I used a heat gun. Haha yeah, I'm still deciding if red may be a good option over the grey

I’d go a charcoal / gunmetal metallic. In the pics where they look dark I think it’s a great look.

One other idea, there are black housing auxiliary driving lights that look just like the Mini branded ones. Since you’ve gone with a black out theme.
