Looking over the new'ish 2022 F60s I see the exterior rear view mirror housing has a little refined shape, looking more like the bow of a ship with a flatter top rounding to the bottom than the bullet shape of my 2018 exterior mirrors. These housings pop-off/on relatively easily. Does anyone know if the new 'boat bow' can be affixed to the earlier versions of the mirror within the F60 and compatible family of mirrors? Seems like a subtle change that implies newer model.
