If you use the scotch brand that was recommended in the other link it will be easy. That tape is the key. I got it from Terry's Auto Supply in Hollywood Fla. I keep holding out on painting my flares and I still want to work a little wide body up

Oh those things LOL . I took out the fog lamps last summer and made brake ducts out of them. The " mesh " is the same material we use to make our grill sets.

gettin the handles off is the easy part. its putting them on... pay close attention to takin them off. with the right tools and some patience, it is an easy but delicate task.

It's not as hard as some other makes. Pay attention not to scratch the paint on the door as you re-install them. I worked at a restoration/rebuild shop and learned to put tape under the handle while installing them until I was ready to tighten it. The paint on the handle will hold up fairly well assuming you don't open the door with your keys in that hand

yeah, I thought of it, and decided against doing that, just a little bit chrome adds a unique look. thanks for the input
