I fitted the factory alarm and now...

the light in the end of the wiper stalk blinks after locking the doors but I haven't had the system activated by the dealer yet. Does this mean my alarm is active and I don't need a trip to the dealer?

This is normal, however you will still need it coded on by the dealer for it to work correctly
