My new JCW should be moving from the VDC to my dealer's lot this week or next, which means it's time to start prepping for the new arrival. Since it's getting close, i wanted to get him some "welcome home" presents, in the form of new glossy black exterior bits

The black trim for head & tail lights will be done at the VDC, which leaves a few others for me. I'm thinking of the black grill surround:

Nope, I have all of those on my Mini and it couldn't be an easier and hassle-free mod to do in less than 5 minutes

 

I bought the gas lid cover, was blown away at what $30+ dollars brought me. Sent it right back and vinyl wrapped it. Less money and looks better to me. The rest of the items I left alone, I like chrome.

 

I just did the gas lid cover and the door handle covers. Pretty awesome. The grill surround is out of stock. Can find one on ebay but it is like $200. I am waiting for outmotoring to get it back or for mini to make something like they do for the taillights.
