Tire Letters?

What do you guys think of putting tire letters on? Are they too ricey? I can't really decide. Let me know what you guys think

They can look cool just depends on overall look of the car

A major aspect of MINI ownership has been sadly diluted over the generations. At one time, MINI proudly extoled the virtues of 'You-a-fication', the idea of making your particular MINI destinguished from all others. The point being:
It's your MINI. If it trips your fancy or as we used to say in the big revolution; 'If it feels good, do it.' Who's to say you shouldn't?

Actually saw a Subaru with letters on the wheels in Asheville. Looked like crap as it appeared that what he stuck them on with was oozing out.

Tire letters are okay if they fit the general theme of the car....since the larger letters originated from race cars, they seem to fit best with a street car that looks like a race car....however, there aren't too many people that want to drive a race car on the street. Another option is to letter the (smaller) graphics that are already on the tire...using a crayon or some such. This is more subtle and makes more of a "I'm an enthusiast" statement than the larger letters do.
