Hey i was curious to see if anybody has a pre '05 MCS with just the front aero kit bumper, dark silver preffered. Also, i was in a minor accident and i hit a raccoon on a dark highway going relatively fast. It left a crack in the bumper on the driver side and the dealer told me it needed replacing. Is it fixable, or do i actually need to replace it. If i do i want to try to get a front aero kit bumper. One last thing, id it possible to not have the black honeycomb grill with the aero kit?? i like the regular grill better.....:smile:

i used the aero front bumper on my dark silver '02 MCS. didn't like the poor fit of the sideskirts and couldn't justify the rear cover because it is little different from the stock 's' cover. the oem covers are repairable unless you absolutely wrecked it, and i would never let a dealer do body repair on any car that i have owned. very few dealers [at least in ny] do their own repair work. most outsource it to a body shop where they get a healthy discount. thus, they are merely marking up the cost of the repair and passing it on to you

 

personally if i were to get the aero kit, i would just want the frt and rear bumpers. because i do not like how the aero skirts cover the oem black trim skirts, to me it just doesnt look right when it goes from black to body color to black, just me though

 

I think the coon died, at least i hope it did. Anyway, i was thinking if it was possible to get glossy black side skirts all the way around to make it look cool.
