Vinyl Wrap Mirror Caps

Anyone successfully wrap the mirror caps, F56? There is a video online of a pro using a bucket and heat to wrap them, but comments are that it is too much stretch and will fail at some point.

I had a local installer do mine and I hate the way it was done. He wouldn't do it in one piece and it looks like crap. Why can't I find anyone who knows wtf they are doing? Is craftmanship a lost art?

I worked in a vinyl shop and often thought about trying mine. The right combination of heat and good materials and it should be ok. The only concern would be the stretch because it will whiten if you use dark colors

I wrapped my gas cap just using a heat gun and that was pretty round with dropoffs

And Whitey loves my Italian gas cap

Mine were wrapped by a graphics shop and I like the way they came out.
