R56 aftermarket steering wheel help

Hey all,
I've been looking into swapping the steering wheel from my R56, and from what I've found online and on other threads, most people buy an R53 hub adapter and modify it to fit. I would much rather try and find a solution before coming to that. I found one so far, but its way too tall to run a quick release from the looks of it ( https://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog...SUSSTR_pg2.htm )
Thanks in advance

Your best bet is to upgrade to the alcantara jcw wheel, its thicker and has more give to it than the rock solid base steering wheel.

Look up Craft Customs Steering Wheels. I spoke and met with them while on a trip to Dallas last weekend. Small operation, but they do really good work. I’m going to ship them my factory wheel, have them add a flat bottom and recover it in leather/suede with red stitching. Might look into that if you can go without your wheel for a couple of weeks. Then you could do whatever you want.
