Custom Gauge bracket

I had some sheet steel lying around so I decided to make my own. Versus spending the outrageous 40$ pods or the dual pod holder which costs 120$.

Let me know what you think!!!

thanks, the images kinda uploaded in whatever order they wanted to. The first picture is my cardboard mock up. The whole project from start to finish took me about 2-3 hours. What you don't see is I put hollowed out plastic spacers to fill in the gap between the bracket and the original screw seats for the tach gauge. So there's still pressure being applied to the appropriate places on the tach to hold it together. I was worried if I didn't do that, that it might rattle or pull the backing of the tach off on the sides.

I think it looks great ! If you can build it yourself, then do it.

Some can't build things so they keep the vendors in business.
