Interior/Exterior Lightbar headlights.

Lightbar headlights.
I'm in need of not only upgraded headlights but basically a whole front clip to hold them on so what i want to do instead is to mount 9" lightbars in the holes where the stock lights go, the light bars in question do have high/low beam function so that wont be a problem but mounting on the other hand will most likely be an issue. I'm going to need to make block off plates for the extra holes that will be left on top and bottom of the lightbar so I'm wondering if i cant just mount them to the block off plate and just run the wiring up the hood so it doesn't rip off when i open the hood to work on the engine (I need to do that frequently or just to look at it lol) but i'm hoping this is a quick weekend project, i've got more lights lit on the dash than not so don't worry about that, I'll be wiring it stand-alone with two switches, one for high beam and one for low. this will slowly become a no f*cks given MINI much like Tyler Fialko's Miata, but its going to happen as things break and I don't have the money to fix them (other than engine problems, ill try to fix those ASAP) so its not going to be a total hoopty instantly.

So what you want to do is take the headlights out and add other lights so that they take the place of the headlights you removed with the intention of replacing with the 9 inch light bars in the hokes left over from the removal and instalation of the block off plates and then run the wires up the hood so they don't get in the way and get ripped off when you open the hood? Sounds like a fantastic weekend project There!
