Joey mod/adaptive headlights stopped working.

Hello everyone, This is my first post and I am in need of some help.
I just purchased a 12' roadster jcw with all the options, but one thing it didn't have was the black headlight housing which looks so good on the white silver colored cars, that I have seen so much of. So I desided to Joey mod the headlights which is something I have done before, so I wasn't to stressed about it until it was all done and I noticed that the adaptive headlight option no longer works. Everything else works just fine including the auto leveling. So I searched the forums looking for some answers with no luck except noticing that it doesn't seem to be an option to get factory black housing with adaptive lights from the factory.

So my question is does anyone know why they could have stopped working? Does it need the silver housing to somehow work? Is there someway to reset them or code them to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you aware that the adaptive headlights only work in the auto mode? In other words, the switch has to be in the Auto position, which is one down from off.
