Help on headlights

Does lowering a mini (or any car in general) cause the headlights to shine toward the ground? If i used H&R springs or Eibachs, will I need to install driving lights or new headlights? I've heard that lowering a mini causes the lights to shine downward and thus not making it effective. Is this true? If so, what would fix this problem?

you need to adjust the lights by twisting the white plastic screw near the electric plug at the headlamp housing
