What technique did you use to remove the old ones? Some people use tools to pry the them off. Others use only their hands. What worked for you?

Now I see what replacing the chrome trim around the headlights with black also looks like on a black mini. I've also got a black one, and I've been toying with de-chroming the front and tail lights.

Is your license plate holder on the front bumper one of those rubber bumper guard thingy?

 

I just pulled them off with my hands. It is just a black license plate frame.

 

Looks good. The Vivid Green or Alien green as they call it has matching interior pieces also.
