One of my blinders on the passengers side is loose because the screws are loose, how do I remove the plastic caps to access the screw itself? I'm not sure where there hinged or which side to pry from, I'd like to get them out without damaging them.

I did remove mine once but i do not recall is the "hinge point" or the part where it go back in first and rotates down to have the cover lay flat is in the middle, near the arm, or the outside. I think they both pivot to the arm/middle.

I would use the smallest, thinnest pic you have and gently pry and see what moves easier and go to that side. That's what I did and there are no visible marks or once that most people would notice.


Honestly, I just came here to see what a "blinder" was.

 

I also needed to do this on mine to hard wire my radar detector and gave up , I was afraid to brake the darn thing

 

I thought they were sun visors. Id this another Brit thing, like bonnet and boot?
