my friend has a 2005 mini cooper s on the the left side just above pillar there is a small curved piece of trim that is missing its has 1 plastic push in clip what is that piece called.can not find it anywhere

 

If you're talking about the outside trim, you have to replace the entire side. The front piece looks separate, but it's all one piece.

 

You talking about the rubber ear on part #10 , its connected to the roof molding.



You can see the little trim rubber right above the a pillar.
