I can't let this go with out adding my feelings for the CRX. Sniff, Sniff I think I am going to cry...

I wanted an early body style CRX so bad! I just couldn't afford one. I test drove them all the time. The best I could do at the time was a 88 Ford Festiva...

Yokohama A008. I forgot what size other than they were 15s. 17s were just a designers wet dream back then

I got a carburated 86 sitting behind my shop right now, belongs to my stepson but he doesn't want it. He is trying to buy his mom's 2000 Accord, I keep telling him he doesn't know what he is throwing away but they never listen. I may take the CRX as down payment on the Accord. Don't know yet. E>

MSFITOY,
I do like the look, I want to so something similar w/ my DS/B MCS. The wife doesn't understand my distaste for chrome but to each his own. I have always liked the understated, underhanded look of black parts ever since I saw my first Dodge Diplomat Cop Car. Never bet against the primered car, never know what he spent the rest of his/her money on.

Are you referring to the fact that the gas tank apparently is missing on the MINI pictured here? My MCS's gas tank is on the driver's side....

Hi Sid...I thought by the time they got to '86 that they had flush headlights??? Or is that look just a function of the body kit extending the body forward of the lights?

I was shopping Hondas right when the first gen CRXs came out...late '83. My first new car. I went with one of the last '83 Civic Ss (not SI, just "S&quot that they had on the lot instead. Added a Kamei (sp?) spoiler and Phoenix Stahlflex tires (ol' timers remember...). One of the best cars I ever had...I'd take another in a heartbeat.

Yours is VERY sweet, though...

DREW

Yes Drew, they did. The Mugen body kit didn't accodate them however so I had to make my own mounts and retrofit.

Sharp eyes about the gas cap I borrowed a previously Photochopped Mini PIC that was facing the opposite way so I flipped my image.
