Has anyone modified thier mini to tow it behind a motorhome?

Has anyone used the Blue OX system being sold by Mini Mania?

Would like to hear about any experiences with this subject.

I'm wondering about the same topic as well. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I though MINI owner's manual doesn't recommend towing the car on all four wheels.

Mania towing system looks like a great alternative as it is custom made for the MINI.

All I know is remember to take it out of gear. While at the dealer a couple of weeks back, I was allowed to get up close and personal with an engine and trany that were blown to bits because someone left their Cooper in first gear. They commented on $12K in repairs,

cheers

Most FWD cars should have their front wheels supported during the towing. The transmissions were not designed to be "powered backwards" if you will - even in neutral. The problem with using a dolly with a MINI is the short wheelbase would put the car at a relatively steep angle and would risk dragging the tail pipes on parking lot transitions.
