Removing Grill

I'm removing my old grill and installing my new JCW grill and having a difficult time with the little wire nuts that "thread" onto the plastic nibs holding the grill on. How have you guys managed to remove the wire nuts? I turn and turn and the little bastards just stay on the nibs and don't unthread. I've tried prying with a screwdriver under the nut while I turn it but that doesn't seem to do any good at all. Wonderful german engineering

It is a biach. I used a nutdriver and the flathead under it at the same time. I also held the nutdriver on an angle.

I can't believe that any engineer would ever design something so stupid and cheap. I'd love to have whoever designed it with me tonight as I try to remove the nuts without butchering the whole grill.
