Driving lights in the grill

Greetings, newbie to the forum. Been a Mini owner for a few years, but just traded my 2010 in for a new 2012 Country All 4 "S".

My first order of business is install driving lights. My 2010 had the factory lights mounted in front of the grill, and I didn't like them. They vibrated and weren't all that effective. So my plan for the the Countryman is to mount them in the grill, similar to the old Mustang:

Does anyone know of a kit offered for this application? Or do I have to make up my own? The grill seems well suited to this, and a decent 4 or 5 inch light should fit nicely.

I can always just mount the light behind the grill and let it just show through the grill. But I really would like to have openings in the grill for the lights.

Any advice?

Thanks!

Jim

I had the same thought, I think it would look good. But only problem I thought of was being able to adjust them when needed. I like the idea. Would like to see your pictures when you get it done.

I have not seen any aftermarket grill that has spots for the spot lights
