Not slamming mate, I think peter is a f!@#$n genius. Having his Cf rear wing and front splitter I would love to finish the package off with this yet am only concerned about getting out of the garage and the speed bumps that I have to negotiate, even to get to the track!

Hi guy's....

I tried to find some more images but no luck. Randy will be back by Sunday and we can take some more images
ie. closeups etc.

The rear of the splitter do follow the slight curve (perfectly) on the rear apron giving it a very integrated look.

The splitter is very strong, but a rock, boulder or a deer will "Kill it"
The verticals are powder coated and very chip resitant.....

The hardware is all Stainless Steel or aluminum.

peter

And I forgot, we have no plans to make the splitter in fiberglass.....sorry

Why a wing and not a diffuser? Since the track is your thing, a diffuser would seem like the best step to increase downforce in the rear.

Next you need to design a flat floor and diffusers in the front and you'll have one glued MINI.

Forgive my ignorance, but can someone post what a diffuser is versus what a splitter is? Pictures would help. Thanks

I would buy it just for the looks if you made one out of aluminum or something besides carbon fiber. I like the way carbon fiber looks, but it's just not for me. I understand the whole weight thing, but it seems like alot of people are asking for a less expensive model. Please consider this Peter. I have heard nothing but praise on your accessories and would love to see you make something like this.

Peter,
What do you think of a carbon-fiber or aluminum wicker that would attach to the trailing edge of the stock MCS rear spoiler?

Honestly I do not know if it would do much, as the air foil on the stock unit is more decoration then a downforce
device.

My race/street car... got one a high downforce one and a high-
speed wickerbill for faster tracks. I use aluminum, but CF would be nice..( now remember this is on my CF Wing).

I've been thinking of the very thing Jim. I think it would be most effective on the Aero kit wing which has no openings. If we attached somethi9ng like you would find on the trunk of an M3 or M5, just a lip like that, all around the trailing edge of the wing would do at least a little bit for rear downforce.

I jsutback into civilization and will try to post somemore pics of the rear diffuser shortly. As for spped bumps ,NO problem. Neither some rough canyon driving this past weekend and my driveway can be a bear as well . Yes the piece hangs low but it is such a short distance to the rear wheels that it is efectively " higher " than it looks. I wouild say i have had over 1500 miles of a variety of road conditions with it on without one contact so far.I will keep you posted,RandyM7 web site

Cheers Randy, what I wanted to hear. Do you find it effecttive enough or do u personally think peters diffuser for track and targa events would be better?
