Interior/Exterior Sprayed Mirror Caps - Blue
Sprayed Mirror Caps - Blue
I had some free time last weekend and wanted to add a little color. I've already sprayed my headlight and grille trim (Noob: just now discovered what plasti-dip is) and wanted to move on to something else. I'm not thrilled with the finish since it orange peeled in places but in concept it turned out pretty well.
I'll have to fix them when I have more time to let paint dry or maybe color plasti-dip them down the road.
Here is the end result.

can you buy the mini caps, in other colors than the neon colors on the web site (orange green, ect)...im wanting black ones...can i order them...or do i have to order the primer ones, and have them painted?
Not sure. I painted over my chrome caps. I'd check somewhere like ebay. I've seen black ones on there reasonably priced.

Eggmont I like what you did. I've been wondering what a two-tone mirror might look like. Nice job!
I like! I have a set of Union Jack mirror covers on right now but I like the 2-tone look. I have a spare set of covers (Autotecknic CF with bubbled clear coat) That I might just sand down to the bare plastic and do some sort of 2-tone. Very innovative!
