Interior/Exterior 2005 Tail lights (and sky blue cabrio pictures)
the headlights are polarizing. I wonder if they are the xenon upgrades. I have seen other Mini Cabrio pics that do not show those lights. I hear that they are calling the new cabrio the "Mini Open" which I think is kind of original.

The headlights are the optional new HID Xenons. You can read more about them here: http://www.motoringfile.com/2004/03/...ghts_in_action

It would be pretty fun to drive if it dropped a hundred pounds or so from the top of the car and lowered the center of gravity.

You can read it all over at http://www.mini2.com/news/ and it's not going to be called the MINI Open.
There once was a Mini Open Classic, which was a Mini with a full length Webasto roof, probably where that rumour came from.

>>Is that a silver Cabrio in the background? I thought orange and blue were the only choices.

Silver was good, there was also a British Racing Green model with green roof, that I liked.

>>And, you may be pleased to know that when I asked a local MA about getting on a mailing list of some sort for early notice on 2005 model year information, he directed me to your site pronto - he had ya bookmarked on his work desktop.
>>I wonder, should I not have let on to the MA that I been edumacatin' myself there for many moons now...

Most if not all of these changes will be on the '05 model year MINI. I can assure you of that, if that's good news or bad in your opinion I don't know!
Good luck
